Where Can a Hillsboro Education Take You? | Henry & Isaac’s Story

You can’t put a price on an education that can take you places you never imagined and places you’ve always wanted to go. Henry Politte and Isaac Readnour once walked the same hallways and sat in classrooms together as students in the Hillsboro R-3 School District. Today, their paths have brought them together again. Henry and Isaac are now Ph.D. candidates at Saint Louis University, where they are taking some of the same graduate-level courses while pursuing work in chemistry and medicine. Think about that journey for a moment. From growing up and going to school in Hillsboro to pursuing some of the highest levels of education possible. Their story is about hard work, determination and two young men who have continued to challenge themselves. But it is also a story about the foundation an education can provide. At Hillsboro R-3, we want our students to dream about what comes next. College. A career. A trade. The military. Entrepreneurship. Graduate school. Or perhaps a future they haven't even imagined yet. Because a great education shouldn't determine where you go. It should give you the foundation to go wherever your dreams take you. For Henry Politte and Isaac Readnour, that journey started right here. A Hillsboro education can take you places you never imagined. It can take you places you want to go. And their stories are still being written. #BoroBuilt
