Thunderstorm timelapse footage taken in Daytona Beach in September 2026. Clouds look static, but timelapse shows amazing things: They are churning at the top. Changing shape. Growing tall so fast they push a veil of cloud a few hundred meters ahead. Some water molecules just blowing downwind and staying in a cloud. Some coming out of solution for just a few seconds to join a cloud, then evaporating again, so a stationary cloud is made up of moving water molecules. Clouds at different altitudes each going their own way.
