Gordon's Farm | Ep 23 | The £500,000 Harvester | FS25 Kinlaig

June on Gordon's Farm, and it's the most expensive month in the series so far. The harvester problem finally gets solved — properly. A John Deere S7.800 comes home, complete with a John Deere HD50F header and a £30,000 trailer just for the header itself. £550k in total. A huge expense, but then our fields are huge and just getting bigger. On top of that, a Krone 1290 HDP square baler appears in the used vehicle section for £95,000, and it's too good a deal to pass up. It'll be put to work on the wheat and oats next month. The spending adds up fast. By the end of the month, the farm is down over half a million smackers. But the work still gets done. The barley field comes off — 67,000 litres of grain, plus around 250,000 litres of straw in the silo. Then the field is ploughed, ready for the next crop. That's pretty much it apart from the usual contracts being done. Just one enormous capital investment and one huge field harvested.
