Sticky Additive gives the Driller another way to spread damage and control the battlefield, coating enemies in sticky flames that can keep hurting them even after they've moved away. When the bugs start piling up, setting the ground ablaze can help slow down the swarm and make it harder for enemies to reach you without taking damage.
The Critical Weakness anomaly adds another twist to the mission, making weak-point damage especially important. Finding the right moment to target enemy weak points can make a big difference when dealing with tougher bugs, especially with Hazard 5 throwing plenty of enemies your way.
And then there's the Haunted Cave warning. Mining for Morkite is already dangerous enough, but having a relentless presence following you through the caves makes it difficult to relax for even a second. There's always another reason to keep moving, watch your surroundings, and avoid getting trapped in a bad position.
The Fungus Bogs are the setting for this run, with muddy terrain, thick vegetation, and winding cave passages that can make moving around a challenge. The Driller's ability to carve tunnels through the terrain comes in handy when you need another route or a quick way out of a dangerous situation.
The goal of this Mining Expedition is to collect the required Morkite and make it back out alive. Between managing the swarms, dealing with the Haunted Cave, and making the most of Sticky Additive, there's plenty to keep the Driller busy. Hazard 5 doesn't leave much room for mistakes, so positioning and keeping the bugs under control are key.
This video is Deep Rock Galactic gameplay with no commentary—just the mission, the build, and whatever happens down in the caves. Is Sticky Additive as good as it feels, or will the Fungus Bogs and Haunted Cave make this run a lot harder than expected?
