Noah’s Ark - God’s Judgement or God’s Mercy - Genesis 6-7

Perhaps one of the most popular stories in all of the bible; the story of Noah’s Ark in Genesis 6-7 is often interpreted as an act of God’s anger and punishment against humanity for it’s persistent wickedness. But if we are to believe Jesus when he says “if you’ve seen me you’ve seen the Father”, and we consider His character as depicted in the Gospels- is it possible that we can view this story of The Flood as an act of mercy rather than wrath? In this video I explore a different perspective from what I’ve always understood Genesis 6 to mean. I am in no way assuming that I am an authority over the meaning of this story. I hold to the position that I am a journeyman, desiring to know God and pursuing Him while humbly acknowledging that what I thought I knew yesterday and what I think I know today is subject to change, because that’s what growth requires. #Genesis6 #noahsark #theflood #biblestudy #godsgrace #noahandtheflood
