Not every customer signal sounds like a complaint.
Sometimes the customer you should be paying the closest attention to is the one who has gone quiet.
In this video, I talk about why customer silence can be one of the most important warning signs in your business. A customer may stop complaining long before they stop buying. They may engage less, ask fewer questions, share less feedback, or slowly start pulling away — and if we are not paying attention, we miss the signal until it is too late.
Customer Voice is not only about what customers say. It is also about what their behavior is telling us.
In this video, I challenge leaders to ask:
Has this customer’s behavior changed?
Are they engaging differently than they used to?
What are we assuming simply because they haven’t complained?
If we wait for the exit interview to learn what changed, we waited too long.
If your organization is struggling to recognize these signals or build a stronger Customer Alignment system, The Vantage Group can help. We help organizations build the systems that capture internal and external customer voice so leaders can stay connected to reality and act on what matters.
