Psalm 50 - He’s Calling for True Worship

Psalm 50 - He’s Calling for True Worship Verse 1: From Zion’s hill the Lord has spoken, His glory lights the morning sky. The earth will tremble at His coming, No soul can hide His searching eye. The Mighty One calls every nation, From east to west His voice is heard. He comes in power and holy splendor— Every heart must heed His Word. Chorus: He’s calling for true worship, Not empty sacrifice. Bring Him a thankful heart today, A living, yielded life. Call upon His holy name, He’ll answer from above. The God who reigns forevermore Still saves with faithful love. Verse 2: The cattle on a thousand mountains, The forests and the birds are His. He needs no gift to make Him richer, The universe belongs to Him. He longs for hearts that trust completely, For lips that praise Him day by day. Obedience is sweeter music Than words that quickly fade away. Chorus: He’s calling for true worship, Not empty sacrifice. Bring Him a thankful heart today, A living, yielded life. Call upon His holy name, He’ll answer from above. The God who reigns forevermore Still saves with faithful love. Bridge: Lay down your pride, Lay down your sin. Mercy is waiting— Come home again. His arms are open, His grace is free. Walk in His light, And His salvation you’ll see. Verse 3: The Judge of all is full of mercy To everyone who seeks His face. He will not turn away the broken Who humbly trust His saving grace. Give thanks to God with joyful singing, Fulfill the vows you’ve made in love. Those who walk His path of righteousness Will see salvation from above. Final Chorus: He’s calling for true worship, Lift thankful hands on high. The King of Glory reigns forever, His truth will never die. Call upon His holy name, He’ll hear your earnest cry. The Lord who keeps His covenant Will lead His children home on high.
