Caleb Flynn’s Messages About ‘Killing’ Wife With Mistress Revealed In Court

A criminal intelligence analyst gave jurors a detailed look at the digital evidence recovered in the investigation into Ashley Flynn’s death, including more than 107,000 GroupMe messages between Caleb Flynn and Aaliyah Botner. The analyst testified that the messages included discussions about Caleb leaving Ashley, references to wanting to kill or get rid of her, and conversations about deleting WhatsApp and iCloud data. Jurors were also shown messages and images exchanged between Caleb and Aaliyah in the hours before Ashley’s death, as well as testimony that GroupMe and Instagram were deleted from Caleb’s phone shortly after 1 a.m. on February 16, 2026.
