A block is on a slope with friction, what happens?

You need to determine if the static friction force would be great enough to keep the block at a rest. If the friction force is not great enough, then the block will accelerate, and you’ll need to use the kinetic coefficient of friction to determine the actual friction force, and the acceleration of the block.
