I wanted to do this bucket list bike trip for sometime. So I channelled my inner Kenneth Williams and used chatGPT to come up with my route you will see. The challenge I set myself was to do as much as possible in 6 days and only use A & B and minor roads with no motorways. This did give me several long days with 11-12 saddle time but the payoff was some of the nest scenic roads I've done. Being in the start of October I was always going to be chasing the daylight and sunset and the weather was going to be pot luck but thankfully the rain was mainly overnight with a couple of damp start's and rain at the end on day 5! Bike was a Triumph 1200 Rally Explorer which handled the narrowest of lanes brilliantly. Best roads for me was up in Yorkshire God's own country. The tour camera footage will follow
