Today we are spending another busy autumn day in the Carpathian Mountains, harvesting potatoes together with our family and friends. Potato harvest is an important part of life in our mountain village. We work together in the field, digging up the potatoes, collecting them by hand, filling the bags and bringing the harvest home. Everyone helps — family members and friends, young and old — because working together makes even hard farm work easier and more enjoyable. This is a simple look at everyday life in the Carpathian countryside, where many traditional farming activities are still done by hand. There is no artificial lifestyle or staged scenes — just real work, family, nature and the peaceful atmosphere of a Ukrainian mountain village. The potato harvest is not always easy, especially after a difficult year with dry weather, but we are grateful for what the land gives us.
