Boomers, Gen X and Millennials Were Sold the Same Lie

Boomers ruined everything. Gen X doesn't care. Millennials are entitled. At least, that's what the internet keeps telling us. But what if all three generations were sold different versions of the same lie? Work hard. Stay loyal. Buy the house. Make the money. Sacrifice today so you can enjoy life tomorrow. At 55, I've lived enough life to know that following the supposed formula for success doesn't guarantee happiness. I've worked hard, owned businesses, made good money, and had the big house. From the outside, I looked successful. On the inside, I was miserable. In this video, I'm talking about what Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials actually have in common, why we keep blaming one another, and what I've learned about success, personal responsibility, and building a life that's genuinely your own. This isn't about blaming a generation or telling anybody how to live. It's about questioning the promises we were handed before we waste another twenty years chasing somebody else's definition of success.
