Funk Fusion Guitar Backing Track in D Minor | Deep Pocket Funk Fusion

Funk Fusion is a D Minor guitar backing track that starts deep in the pocket with a spacious, laid-back groove before gradually opening into a fuller, harder-hitting funk fusion jam. The opening leaves plenty of room to settle into the groove and play melodically without feeling rushed or overcrowded. As the track develops, the rhythm section opens up, the pocket becomes more pronounced, and the whole arrangement evolves into a much bigger funky fusion feel. 🔥🎸 🎸 For Musicians: Tonal Center: D Minor Style: Funk Fusion / Progressive Groove Scale suggestions: • D Minor Pentatonic • D Blues Scale • D Natural Minor • D Dorian for brighter modal color D Minor Pentatonic is the easiest place to start, especially if you want to lean into the bluesier side of the groove. From there, listen to the harmonic movement and let your phrasing become more rhythmic as the track develops. This one is really about locking into the pocket, leaving some space, and letting the groove gradually pull more out of your playing.
