Jemele Hill, Monica McNutt and LaChina Robinson on Their Journeys in Sports

Today on Tamron Hall, we're celebrating the women changing the game in sports! Award winning sports journalists Jemele Hill, Monica McNutt and LaChina Robinson join Tamron to break down the WNBA Finals, the growing popularity of women's sports and the challenges female athletes and broadcasters continue to face. From double standards and media coverage to the importance of greater investment, the three powerhouse women share their perspectives on the future of women's sports. Plus, they open up about their personal journeys, the power of sisterhood and how they've supported one another throughout their careers. Then, meet professional hockey player Makenna Webster, who is making her debut with the New York Sirens. She shares her journey from playing on boys' hockey teams as a child to competing at the highest levels of the sport. Makenna also discusses her work supporting athletes with disabilities and her hopes for the next generation of girls in hockey. Next, Little League baseball sensation Carsynn Meyer joins Tamron after making history as the first girl to record a hit and an RBI in the Little League World Series U.S. Championship game! With her batting gloves now part of the National Baseball Hall of Fame's collection, Carsynn reflects on achieving her childhood dream, the lessons baseball has taught her and her advice for young girls hoping to follow in her footsteps. Plus, we're taking you inside Wilka's Sports Bar, New York City's first sports bar dedicated exclusively to women's sports! Co-owner Lauren Louise joins Tamron to celebrate the bar's first anniversary and share how she overcame doubts and rejection to create a thriving community where women's sports take center stage. #TamronHallShow #TamFam #WomensSports #WNBA #JemeleHill #MonicaMcNutt #LaChinaRobinson FOLLOW US: Instagram: @tamronhallshow X: @tamronhallshow Facebook: @tamronhallshow TikTok: @tamronhallshow JOIN OUR SHOW: [https://tamronhallshow.com/be-on-the-...] (https://tamronhallshow.com/be-on-the-...)
