UP 5789 East — Loaded Stacks Give Way to Empty Well Cars at MP 762 | Sunset Route

Union Pacific 5789 heads east past MP 762 on the Sunset Route in southwestern Arizona on March 24, 2026. The train begins with loaded double-stack containers before transitioning into a substantial stretch of empty well cars, many displaying plenty of trackside graffiti. The changing consist makes this one more interesting than a typical solid intermodal train, with a good look at both loaded and empty well equipment as the train passes MP 762. #UnionPacific #Intermodal #WellCars #Graffiti #SunsetRoute #Railfanning #Arizona #SWAZRails
