1) Project Zomboid in StratchaCat's community game! I meet Kai Wayne, Ash, and...Ovi Positum. 💀

Broadcasted live on Twitch on September 20, 2026 StratchaCat's just now starting a weekly-ish Project Zomboid community game! I've been wanting to play this for so long, and I've been wanting to hang out with Stratcha more for...well, not AS long, but for quite a while! And finally I get to stream with Pablo! A win-win, really! Even better, we're RPing! ... although I didn't know that at character creation time, so... Meet Komette, a young electrician who was was in the middle of a video gaming binge when the zombie outbreak started. Days into it, she poked her head out, saw all the chaos, and met Ash, Kai Wayne, and Ovi Positum. (Okay...*mostly* RPing...) And started learning about survival in the apocalypse! I actually picked up Project Zomboid back before it was on Steam! I played it a fair bit on Desura in 2012 when it was in alpha! But then I didn't play for many years...and the game changed! A lot! And then it was so intimidating that I was afraid to get back into it without people around holding my hand... And now here I am, with passionate fans of the game in the community holding our hands! Zomboid's a really intensive post-apocalyptic zombie survival game! It's got multiplayer, it's got an incredibly robust modding community, and it's set somewhere that my human has been! The simulation is very granular, including clothes getting dirty and needing to be washed, muscle strain that takes significant recovery time to come back from, body heat rising from performing heavy physical activity, and the world around you eroding over the months and years without maintenance work going on. There are so many items that you find scrounging through the world and you have to be pretty specific about how you interact with some of them. Here are the streamers that I know who were involved!
