What’s beyond Hanoi’s tourist streets? Take a walk through Hanoi’s Old Quarter and see a side of the city where everyday life continues alongside the busy streets filled with visitors from around the world. The walk passes through Trần Nhật Duật, where simple sidewalk stalls sell vegetables, eggs, fresh meat, cakes and other everyday goods. Further on, a small neighborhood alley turns into an informal market of its own, with local vendors selling food and everyday items right along the street. From there, the walk continues through smaller streets of the Old Quarter, including Hàng Chiếu, where cars, motorbikes, local residents and international visitors all share the same busy streets. This is not a tour of Hanoi’s famous landmarks. It is simply a walk through the Old Quarter to experience the everyday scenes, people and atmosphere that make these streets what they are. There is no narration and no music. Just the real sounds of Hanoi — traffic, conversations, street activity and everyday life. 📍 Hanoi Old Quarter, Vietnam 🚶 Walking through Hanoi 🥬 Sidewalk markets & street vendors 🌏 Local life & international visitors Filmed by Real Vietnam.
