Shopify Course Series — Lecture 7: Create AI Banners, Logo & Favicon with ChatGPT Welcome to Lecture 7 of the Shopify Course Series by Progressors. This lecture is a little different from our previous Shopify customization videos because today we are going to use ChatGPT AI to create visual assets for our Shopify store, including website banners, logo concepts and favicon. Many students simply open ChatGPT and type something like, “Create a beautiful banner for my website.” But the result may not be what you actually need. In this lecture, I explain a much better workflow for using ChatGPT to generate more useful and relevant AI designs for your Shopify store. Instead of directly asking AI to create a banner, we first use ChatGPT to generate multiple creative design concepts. Once we have the concepts, we select each concept and ask ChatGPT to create a detailed AI image-generation prompt based on that specific concept. We can then take those prompts and use them with an AI image-generation tool to create the actual website banners. In this practical lecture, I generate three banner concepts, create prompts for each concept, and then generate three different banners based on those prompts. After generating the banners, I upload them one by one to the Shopify store. We then follow a similar workflow for creating the Shopify logo and favicon: first generating the concept, then creating a detailed prompt, generating the visual asset, and finally uploading it to the Shopify store. So the complete workflow covered in this video is: Concept → Prompt → AI Generation → Shopify Upload By the end of this lecture, you will understand how you can use ChatGPT and AI image generation to create custom visual assets for your Shopify website instead of relying entirely on pre-made graphics. This approach can be especially useful when you want your Shopify store to have a more unique visual identity while building the store practically from scratch. Generate Concepts First, use ChatGPT to brainstorm multiple creative concepts. 2. Select a Concept Choose the concept that best fits the Shopify store. 3. Generate a Detailed Prompt Ask ChatGPT to transform the selected concept into a detailed image-generation prompt. 4. Generate the Visual Pass the prompt to an AI image-generation tool and create the banner, logo or favicon. 5. Upload to Shopify Upload the generated visual asset directly into the Shopify store. We repeat this workflow for the different visual elements of the website.
