They described the moment they first began questioning the story they had been told about her death. Ashley’s mother and sister testified about getting the devastating call that someone had broken into the Flynn home and shot Ashley while she slept. At first, they said they never questioned Caleb. But as they replayed what allegedly happened, things began to bother them. Then came testimony about the affair. Ashley’s sister described her shock when investigators told her Caleb had been involved with another woman - someone the family knew from church. She also revealed what Caleb and Ashley’s two daughters, now 12 and 10, have been told about their mother’s death and their father’s arrest.
