RV Power Awning Fabric Replacement: How Hard Can it Be?

WARNING!!! This IS VERY DANGEROUS!!! Today, we are back in the summer heat at the shop and back on the 2009 Cardinal 5th wheel. This has a Dometic power awning and the fabric is in bad shape. While I may not need to replace the awning, I'd rather have a better looking 5th wheel if I am going to put this amount of work into a RV. I just purchased a generic fabric and chose a simple color fade. While I show how I do this job by myself, it is much easier with two people and this is very dangerous if you are not careful.
