WWII Plane Wrecks of Kwajalein Atoll Pt 4

Part 4 in the series I'm doing for fun on WWII plane wrecks in the Kwajalein Atoll lagoon. This episode features the upright TBM-1C 'Avenger', one of the H6K 'Mavis' wrecks', and the upside down E13A1 'Jake' wreck. The Avenger was intentionally dumped into the lagoon near the end of World War II. The 'Mavis' and the 'Jake' are both Japanese, and were sunk just off Ebeye Island during the war by US aircraft that strafed them at their moorings. Video created: March 2020
