Steam, Goods & Turntables! | WSR Autumn Steam Festival 2026

Two days of steam, goods trains, turntables and sunsets at the West Somerset Railway Autumn Steam Festival 2026! 🚂 Join me for a full weekend exploring the WSR, with visiting locomotives Ivatt 2MT No. 41313 and GWR 1054, alongside the railway's steam fleet and other locomotives in action between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead. Across the weekend, I travel along the line, capture the goods train in action, visit stations including Crowcombe Heathfield, Washford, Watchet, Doniford Halt and Minehead, and take a closer look at some of the railway's history along the way. At Minehead, we also follow 4110 through the complete turntable process, from running onto the turntable and being turned to heading away for water.
