All the action from Saturday where we return to the East Somerset Railway hot on the heels of their Spring Gala last weekend    • Highlights from Sunday at the East Somerse...   this Saturday featured another chance to capture visiting traction 1940 built GWR Diesel Railcar No. 22 courtesy from Didcot Railway Centre in action, alongside the Mendip Traction & Rolling Stock Group DMU, immaculately turned out L231! The sentinel shunter shed was also open to the public, with 'Joan' offering short brakevan rides within station limits, and Gronk 08704 was in action on 'driver for a tenner' duties in the capable hands of a mainline GBRF driver who offered yours truly some driving insights! The weather made the day a great success with a packed car park and equally packed trains, great to see the East Somerset again drawing the crowds for this event and also good to see Ivatt Mogul 46447 on the comeback trail with lagging and cladding well underway! | 21.03.2026 I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for watching!
