These blessed Hadiths from Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith 207–213) provide important guidance about purification, eating, and prayer. The narrations show that eating meat, barley flour (sattu), or drinking milk does not itself invalidate Wudu. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sometimes ate and then offered prayer without performing a new Wudu, while after drinking milk he rinsed his mouth because of its richness and fat. The Hadiths also teach an important lesson about prayer: if a person becomes very sleepy during Salah and can no longer remain fully aware of what he is reciting, he should rest until his sleepiness passes and he is able to understand his recitation. These narrations demonstrate the Prophet’s ﷺ practical guidance, his consideration for the ease and well-being of his Ummah, and the importance of performing prayer with awareness, concentration, and humility.
