I visit the local stores you've missed out around Bangkok's MRT Huai Khwang

Most people stop at ยาวราช (Yaowarat), the original Chinatown. Almost nobody makes it here. 🌧️ ห้วยขวาง (Huai Khwang) has been quietly transforming for 30 years. What was once a wetland community built around a 69-year-old market is now sharing its streets with Bangkok's newest wave of Chinese arrivals. Same district, not quite the same world. In this video we explore both layer, the Thai market that started it all, a book rental shop that's been running for over 30 years, the Ganesha temple that protects, chicken noodles from 1957, and a บัวลอย (Bua Loy) Thai dessert shop that only local knows. I'm still not sure what Huai Khwang is becoming.
