YOU THINK YOUR LEAVING WILL DESTROY HIM? | Dag Heward-Mills

Dag Heward-Mills had just been accused of 'also leaving' a church when he remembered John 6: Jesus feeds thousands with five loaves, everyone loves him, then the next day he tells them to eat his flesh and drink his blood, and most of the crowd walks away. He pairs it with a modern story - Robert Ingidiberti, Reinhard Bonnke's right-hand man, who was certain the ministry would collapse the day he left. Dag turns on anyone who thinks that way, calling it wretched, calling it losing. Then he lands back in the story: while the crowd leaves, Peter stays - 'Lord, where else would we go, you have the words of life' - and Judas just stands there silent, right before Jesus names him outright: one of you is a devil.
