Chicory and winter rye food plot in wet forest

Year 1 of a 2 year project to clear about 1 acre in dense wet forest. I cleared about 1/2 an acre this year and planted a mix of winter rye and chicory. Took me about 12 days over the course of 2-3 months. The snow was over 3 feet deep at times and I had to work in large snowshoes, which was really tiring. It was a great project to stay active during a cold winter. The place has a real Fred Penner vibe to it now.
