Day 3 | Duran Ceremony ❤️ | Bride's Final Farewell from Mirik to Kathmandu

Every wedding has its beautiful moments, but some moments stay in our hearts forever. ❤️ Day 3 of our wedding journey was one of the most emotional and meaningful days as we celebrated Duran, a beautiful traditional ceremony where the groom returns with his bride to her family home. Our journey took us back to Mirik, India, where the bride's family welcomed us once again with love, warmth, and blessings. This day held a very special meaning as Alka said her final ceremonial goodbye to her family and her Kul (ancestral family lineage), marking an important transition in her life as she began a new chapter with her husband and his family. It was a day filled with mixed emotions — happiness for our new beginning, gratitude for the love of our families, and tears as we said goodbye to the home and people who had been such an important part of her life. After receiving the final blessings and sharing our heartfelt farewells, we began our journey from Mirik back to Kathmandu, Nepal, carrying countless memories, blessings, and love with us. From a daughter's cherished home to a new journey as husband and wife — some goodbyes are not endings, but the beginning of something beautiful. ❤️ We are forever thankful to both our families for making our wedding journey so special and unforgettable.
