This music video imagines one such voyage through the eyes of Ragna, steerswoman of the longship, her young archer companion Bjarki, the skald Ulfar and the seeress Gróa. 📜 LYRICS (Icelandic / English) [Chorus] Vestur siglum við — vestur! Yfir hafið, gegnum storm. Vestur siglum við — bræður! Engin hræðsla stöðvar för. Westward we sail — westward! Through the sea and through the storm. Westward we sail, my brothers! No fear shall turn us from our course. [Verse 3] Morgunsólin rýfur þokuna, Fuglar hrópa yfir sjó. Úr fjarska rísa ókunn skógar, Græn er ströndin, bjart er ljós. The morning sun breaks through the mist, Wild birds cry above the sea. Far away, strange forests rise, A green shore beneath the light.
