RAIN. SPRINKLERS. A DJ BOOTH 200 FEET AWAY FROM THE DANCE FLOOR. This wedding was one disaster after another. I thought I was showing up to an indoor wedding DJ gig... Then I arrived. The ceremony and reception were completely outside, dark clouds were rolling in, and I had zero rain protection for thousands of dollars of DJ equipment. 😅 What followed was one of the most stressful setups I've ever done: 🌧️ Last-minute rain during setup ⛺ My wife saving the day with a canopy 🔊 A wireless speaker setup that made almost no sense 💦 Sprinklers turning on and aiming directly at my speakers 🕺 An "introvert DJ" dance party where I was hidden inside the building while everyone danced outside Somehow... we still pulled off an amazing wedding.
