CM DK Shivakumar On Western Ghats & Forest Notice: ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಖಡಕ್ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ! ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಭೇಟಿಯ ವೇಳೆ ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ರೈತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೇರ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಅರಣ್ಯ ಭೂಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ ರಂಗನ್ ವರದಿ ಕುರಿತು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. "ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜಮೀನನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ, ಆದರೆ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಭೂಮಿ ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ" ಎಂದು ರೈತರಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, "ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಕೃಷಿಕರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ಅಥವಾ ಇವಿಕೇಶನ್ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ನೀಡಬಾರದು" ಎಂದು ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟಗಳ ಪರಿಸರ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ವಲಯ (Eco-Sensitive Zone) ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಜನವಸತಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ರೈತರು ಕೋರಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಕೇರಳ ಮಾದರಿಯಂತೆ ಭೌತಿಕ ಸರ್ವೇ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ವರದಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಕೃಷಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಲೀಜ್ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ ಇಲಾಖಾ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ 52,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕರಾವಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಭಾಗದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಂತೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. During his official tour of Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar interacted directly with local farmers and addressed public concerns regarding forest land encumbrances and the Kasturirangan Committee report on the Western Ghats. Cautioning residents against any fresh encroachments on forest land, the Chief Minister assured existing farmers that their current land holdings remain safe and strictly instructed the Forest Department not to issue eviction notices or harass the local populace. Addressing key agrarian demands, Shivakumar highlighted that the state government is formulating a proposal to standardize forest land leases to a 25-year duration to send to the central government. Responding to appeals to exclude inhabited agrarian belts from the Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESZ), he assured that an official technical review is underway in consultation with senior officials to formulate the state's submission to the Centre.
