We were deeply moved by the trust and generosity she showed us in agreeing to sit and talk. Her clarity, kindness and authenticity is the epitome of what this project is about. True diamond wisdom. Enjoy this interview. Great Grandmother Lutie Hillare is a precious elder of the Lummi Nation in the Pacific Northwest of America. We had the great honor of sitting with her and receiving her wisdom, reflections and blessings on our recent trip to the San Juan and Orcas Islands. This is a self funded and created project, due to the very nature of the content and our many collaborations, it is very important to us not to sell or fund the project to investors or media partners, not to rely on advertising or to commodify the wisdom in any way. This leaves us with a challenge to cover our costs for all the work required to create, produce and shareso much content for free across so many platforms. The only way we have found -as of yet - to ensure this project remains clean, sovereign and independent is through grassroots crowdfunding and patreon support. By appealing to many people like yourself to pledge a tiny monthly amount we are on our way to having a sustainable, self funded and sovereign project. But we need as much support as we can get. Please join us and help us grow. www.patreon.com/wisdom_keepers Those who can pledge a monthly contribution help pay for the content to remain free for those who can’t. Of course you are always welcome to enjoy the content for free on our social platforms.
