First Blackfish Charter 2026 with Underwater Video

Our first blackfish charter of 2026 is in the books! 🎣 After a good storm rolled through, we headed out Tuesday to enjoy a beautiful weather day and kick off the fall tautog season on the North Fork of Long Island. We found a good piece of bottom and had a steady bite all day. Plenty of short blackfish kept us busy, but keepers were tougher to come by. Bob landed the highlight of the trip—a nice 5.4-pound blackfish—and we brought home some nice sea bass for the table, too! The water is still a little warm, but the fish are there! Check out the underwater footage and still photos for a closer look at what’s happening beneath the boat. Thanks for watching North Fork Adventures!
