Eevee the Corgi Puppy | Week 1 Board & Train – Attention & Basic Obedience Training

Eevee the Corgi puppy is starting her first week of Board & Train at Best Paw Forward Dog Training! 🐾 For her very first training video, we focused on building a strong foundation through attention, engagement, and basic obedience skills. Before we begin adding more challenging skills and distractions, it’s important for Eevee to learn how to focus on her handler and understand the basics of our training system. During today’s session, we worked on: 🐾 Attention & Engagement – Teaching Eevee to check in, focus, and stay connected with her handler 🐾 Basic Obedience – Introducing and reinforcing foundational skills that we’ll continue building throughout her program 🐾 Handler Focus – Helping Eevee learn that paying attention to her trainer leads to reinforcement and direction 🐾 Puppy Foundations – Creating clear communication and good training habits from the beginning As Eevee progresses through her program, these foundational skills will help prepare her for more challenging training around distractions.
