900 વર્ષ જૂનું વાળીનાથ મહાદેવ મંદિર 😲 // ગુજરાતનું બીજું સૌથી મોટું શિવધામ 2026 🛕 // #shiv #valinath history of valinath Mahadev temple : The 900-Year Legacy: The spiritual lineage of the site was established around 900 years ago by ascetic saint Pujya Viramgiri Bapu, who settled in Tarabh for intense meditation (tapasya). Discovery of the Deity: According to legend, a devout follower named Tarbhovanbha Moydav prayed to Goddess Chamunda, who guided him to Viramgiri Bapu. Following divine visions in a state of samadhi, Viramgiri Bapu unearthed idols of Lord Shiva (Valinath Mahadev), Goddess Chamunda, and Lord Ganesha, along with an eternal sacred fire (Akhand Dhuni), beneath a Rayan tree. The Guru Gadi Lineage: Viramgiri Bapu established the seat (Guru Gadi) of the Valinath Akhada. Over the centuries, 14 Mahants have maintained this tradition, with Jayramgiri Bapu currently presiding over the seat. Modern Reconstruction & Architecture Rebuilding Project: Groundbreaking for a grand new temple complex began in 2011 and was completed after 13 years of effort using traditional Maru-Gurjara (Nagara) architectural style. Pran Pratishtha (2024): The new temple was inaugurated in February 2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of lakhs of devotees. Key Architectural Features: Built using Bansi Paharpur pink sandstone (over 1.45 lakh cubic feet of stone). Measures 101 feet high, 265 feet long, and 165 feet wide, making it one of the largest Shiva temples in Gujarat after Somnath. Features three main spires (shikharas): housing Valinath Mahadev in the central sanctum, alongside dedicated sanctums for Lord Dattatreya and Hinglaj Mata. Preserves the ancient 900-year-old Rayan tree and the Akhand Dhuni inside the temple precinct. #valinath #gujarat #Mahadev #ShivTemple #ValinathMahadev #TempleVlog #travel #vlog #gujarativlog #2026 #tranding #viral #shorts #sharch #video #videos
