Once her grandchildren, Andrew and Audrey, arrived, Theresia began spending part of every year in Las Vegas — and made every moment count. She took them to school, cooked their favorite meals, taught them to grow things even in the desert, and delighted them with creative play. From birthdays to school performances, she was there for every bit of it, and she and her husband, Ron, explored the American Southwest together as a family before returning to Missouri when school was out of session.
