같은 곳에 살아도, 우리는 모두 조금씩 다른 세상에 산다고 생각합니다. 한국에서 미용사로 일하며 익숙한 일상을 살아가던 저는 어느 순간 제가 알고 있는 세상 밖의 삶이 궁금해졌습니다. 새로운 환경에서 살아보고 싶었고, 다른 문화를 경험하고 싶었고, 더 넓은 세상을 직접 보고 싶었습니다. 그렇게 호주로 떠났습니다. 당시에는 새로운 도전이라고 생각했지만, 시간이 지난 지금 돌아보면 어쩌면 그 선택에는 제가 살고 있던 삶에서 잠시 벗어나고 싶은 마음도 있었던 것 같습니다. 이번 영상은 제가 왜 한국을 떠나 호주로 오게 되었는지에 대한 이야기입니다. — I think we can live in the same place and still experience completely different worlds. I was working as a hairstylist in Korea, living a life that had become familiar to me. But at some point, I began wondering what life might look like beyond the world I already knew. I wanted to live somewhere new, experience different cultures, and see more of the world for myself. So I moved to Australia. At the time, I thought of it as a new challenge. Looking back now, though, I think a part of me was also trying to step away from the life I was living.
