Forestry Mulching Before and After | .75 Acre Pasture Reset in Joliet, IL | GrindForce

Forestry mulching project in Joliet, Illinois. This property was about .75 acres of overgrown brush, tall grass, and cut walnut saplings sitting at around 5 inches in diameter. The ground was soft from early spring conditions but workable. The owner used to keep horses here and ride with neighbors. The goal is to bring it back to open ground with grass cover, closer to how it looked years ago. He wants to expand the clearing further in the future. We mulched everything on-site. No hauling, no landfill costs. The mulched material stays on the ground to stabilize the soil and support grass growth, which is exactly what this property needs for the prairie setting the owner has in mind. You will notice an existing burn pile on the side of the property. That was left by the owner from a previous cleanup, not part of our work. The owner left GrindForce a 5-star Google review and said the property looked exactly the way it did many years ago. That is the result we work toward on every job. If you have overgrown ground in the Chicagoland area you want cleared, the first step is a free on-site visit. I will come take a look, assess the conditions, and give you an accurate, no-surprise quote.
