Today on Lab Coat Lessons, we’re joined by Dr Sridevi Sureshkumar, a geneticist at Monash University, Head of the Genetics At The Core Research Group and an ARC Future Fellow. Sridevi’s groundbreaking research into DNA repeat expansions is helping us understand more than 50 human genetic diseases. Her scientific journey has taken her from India to Germany to Australia, with her research published in prestigious journals including Science and Nature. Beyond her research, Sridevi is passionate about championing women and diversity in STEM and creating opportunities for the next generation of scientists.
