Lab coat lessons: Dilendra Wijesekara

Today on Lab Coat Lessons, we’re joined by Dilendra Wijesekara, who at the time of filming was a PhD student at Deakin University and the winner of the 2024 Three Minute Thesis Grand Final. Her research on silk-based biomaterials has gained national attention, alongside her passion for mentoring students, STEM outreach and amplifying diverse voices in science. Since we filmed this episode, Dilendra has completed her PhD and is now working as a Business Development Advisor at Swinburne University of Technology.
