Daytona USA - 8 Player Online Race (3 Way Split-Screen) Dinosaur Canyon Mirrored (2nd)

So, yet another player who'd been involved in the November 2020 8 player online games of Daytona USA reached out to me to say that they'd recorded some of the races and sent me a Google drive link to download the video. Thanks for that Uan26942! This means I've been able to combine that with the split-screen footage of myself and Alvaro Flores playing that I'd already uploaded to now create a 3 way POV video of the 8 player game. It's excellent to be able to see the race from all these different points of view. I'm UK based, Alvaro is from Chile and Uan26942 is from Australia, so it's crazy to think that I'm playing this 7,500 miles away from Alvaro, 9500 miles away from Uan26942, and they're about 8000 miles apart from each other, but looking at the split-screen video, it's as if we could all be sat next to each other in a row of Daytona arcade cabinets in a local arcade. Amazing. Uan26942's footage is recorded with an external camera, which seems to move as the race goes on, cutting off the top of his screen. As that happens, I zoom in more on his screen to cut off the dead space at the bottom of it. Thanks once again to both players for letting me use their footage! The footage in the top right corner is just a random picture I took of my wheel and TV after we'd finished playing. I just stuck it in this video because, as they say, nature abhors a vacuum and likewise I abhor an empty space in a split-screen video, so I had to stick something in there.
