Takilla Marion, 38, waited in a rented white sedan outside the Target on Atlanta Highway in Athens, Georgia, on October 13, 2024, while her two sons, 14 and 10, were spotted climbing around the store's electronics counters. She told Athens-Clarke County police she was just their ride. She had no idea what Target's asset protection team had already handed officers.
Bodycam footage shows what was inside her car, the stack of reports tying the boys to Target stores across metro Atlanta, a total Target put at $24,870 over about ten weeks, and the one question she never answered.

Should a parent who drives the car face the same charges as the kids who walk inside the store? Tell us in the comments.
