Transport Minister Barbara Creecy opens 7 upgraded railway stations on East London rail corridor

Transport Minister Barbara Creecy will officially open seven refurbished railway stations along the East London rail corridor. The stations at Mtsotso, Fort Jackson, Panmure, Mdantsane, Arnoldton, Mount Ruth and Wilsonia, previously damaged and vandalised, have been restored by PRASA to improve commuter facilities, safety and access. The project has also created jobs and opportunities for local small businesses as part of October Transport Month and PRASA's nationwide to rebuild passenger rail across the country.
