That's not usually the sort of price that comes with a fancy cask finish and a bottle that makes you stop and think, "Is this actually going to be good?" Linkwood brings the Speyside character, while the Madeira finish adds another layer to the whisky. And yes, this bottle came home with me from Islay, but the real reason I bought it was the value.
