On My 58th Birthday, This Lecture on Verse No. SB-10.1.39 Delivered at Shri Shri Krishna Balram Mandir ISKCON Vrindavan.... देहे पञ्चत्वमापन्ने देही कर्मानुगोऽवश: । देहान्तरमनुप्राप्य प्राक्तनं त्यजते वपु: ।। || शरीर बार-बार मिट्टी में क्यों मिल जाता है? || || जब शरीर मिट्टी में मिल जाता है तो आत्मा कहां चली जाती है? || अनुवाद जब वर्तमान शरीर धूल में बदल जाता है और पुनः पाँच तत्वों - पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु और आकाश - में बदल जाता है, तो शरीर का स्वामी, जीव अपने कर्मों के अनुसार स्वतः ही भौतिक तत्वों का एक और शरीर प्राप्त करता है। जब अगला शरीर प्राप्त होता है, तो वह वर्तमान शरीर को त्याग देता है। Translation When the present body turns to dust and is again reduced to five elements — earth, water, fire, air and ether — the proprietor of the body, the living being, automatically receives another body of material elements according to his fruitive activities.
