UNDERSTAND THIS! THERE'S A PROCESS GOD TAKES MEN THROUGH B4 HE LIFTS THEM | APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

God's process of preparation, spiritual maturity and divine lifting with Apostle Joshua Selman. Learn why humility, surrender and dependence on Christ matter as you prepare to serve God's purposes. Before asking for greater influence, consider the vessel you are becoming. In this Koinonia message, “This Is the Generation,” the teaching explores the making of mighty men and women: people who are available to God, willing to learn and grounded in the finished work of Jesus. Apostle Joshua Selman identifies two challenges: disinterest in God's purposes, and sincere zeal that lacks understanding and alignment with biblical patterns. He challenges spiritual competition, legalism and the belief that personal achievements can make us sufficient in ourselves. Prayer, fasting, Bible study and consecration remain valuable, but their purpose must be understood. The central distinction is between the price Jesus paid and the believer's response of faith and obedience. Using David's sling and a delivery illustration, he explains that spiritual disciplines help prepare and align the vessel; they do not replace Christ's sacrifice. The message also warns against using grace as an excuse for complacency. Humility runs through the teaching. Learn from experienced believers, receive wisdom from others and remain honest about what you do not know. Spiritual stature involves more than impressive sermons or public recognition. The call is to keep growing, honour the contributions of others and let Jesus receive the glory. The sermon connects evangelisation, spiritual maturity and societal transformation. Businesspeople, parents, leaders and technical teams all have roles. Admiring another person's ministry should never cause you to neglect your own assignment. In this message, learn to: • Recognise the difference between zeal and informed spiritual growth. • Practise spiritual disciplines with faith, humility and dependence on Christ. • Reject pride, comparison and the pressure to appear spiritually superior. • Learn from mentors, colleagues and the gifts within the body of Christ. • Serve faithfully in the area of responsibility God has entrusted to you. Scriptures include Hebrews 11:6, 2 Timothy 2, Galatians 2:20 and Acts 4. Join the worship, prayers for restoration and surrender, and invitation to salvation. Listen prayerfully.
