Don't Go to Bed Without These Psalms: God's Tender Presence and Protection Over You and Your Home

Before you lie down for the night, let these sung Psalms settle over you and your home like a quiet blessing 🕊️. The collection is made of new Psalm-based paraphrases with a few brief lines of Scripture, and it centres on God's tender presence and protection. You will hear the Lord as your light and salvation in Psalm 27, a refuge in the shadow of His wings in Psalm 57, the mountains that stand round about Jerusalem, and the Lord who hears your weeping in Psalm 6. Warm tenor and baritone voices, gentle female harmonies and a soft choir move slowly over flowing harp, strings and cello, with no percussion to break the stillness. The harp of King David gives the channel its setting, and the songs draw on Psalms from across the whole Book of Psalms. Let God's tender presence meet you in evening prayer, in the last quiet minutes before sleep, or whenever an anxious or weary heart needs deep rest. Pray for the people under your roof, from grandparents to children and anyone who brings tears to bed, and rest in God's tender presence through the night. May these Psalms invite you to lay down your worries and sleep in peace, held in God's tender presence and protection. 🙏 #psalms #worship #scripture #kingdavid #harp #peace #sleep #prayer #biblesleep #eveningprayer 🙏 Support this channel: https://ko-fi.com/shepherdkingpsalms Thank you for your prayers and support.
