Fall Asleep to God's Promises | Gentle Bedtime Prayer and Scripture for Peaceful Rest

Fall asleep to God's promises with this gentle bedtime prayer and Scripture for peaceful rest. Over more than an hour, a calm voice guides you through slow breathing, quiet prayers, and Bible promises for the weary, so you can lay down the day and rest. If you are lying awake with a full heart, you are welcome here exactly as you are. You do not need to follow every word or stay awake to the end. If you drift off mid-sentence, that is perfectly fine. The prayer keeps going, like someone keeping watch beside you. Together we will pray about the work left undone, the names we carry in our hearts, money and provision, worries about our health, fears in the dark, tears that need a safe place, and the road ahead. Along the way we rest in Scripture such as Psalm 4:8, Psalm 23, Lamentations 3:22-23, and 1 Peter 5:7, using simple words and plenty of quiet. This prayer is a companion for your night. It does not promise a particular outcome, and it is not a replacement for medical or mental-health care. If worry, grief, or sleeplessness weighs on you heavily, please also lean on people you trust and talk with a doctor or counselor. You do not have to carry it alone. If this prayer brings you comfort, subscribe so you can find it again on the nights you need it. Share it with someone who is awake tonight. #BedtimePrayer #SleepPrayer #BibleVerses #GuidedPrayer #ChristianSleep Chapters: 0:00 Tonight You Can Rest 3:02 Breathing in the Quiet 6:07 Lie Down in Peace 9:34 Work Left Undone 13:32 New Mercies Waiting 17:48 The Shepherd's Night Walk 24:03 You Are Not Alone 28:15 Names I Carry to You 33:09 Work, Bills, and Provision 37:31 When Your Body Worries You 42:17 Fears in the Dark 46:57 Held in Your Tears 51:09 The Road Ahead 54:05 Peace Over This House 57:24 Casting Every Care 59:59 Promises to Sleep Holding 1:03:08 Drift Into Rest 1:05:37 Blessing and Amen Music: "Event Horizon" – The Grey Room (YouTube Audio Library)
