Ladybugs (1992): Every Adult in This Movie Gets Sued | Let's Ruin It

One week ago we would have told you we loved Ladybugs (1992). Then we rewatched it as three real attorneys, and we owe everyone an apology. Rodney Dangerfield's Chester Lee gets handed a girls youth soccer team with no vetting, no background check, and no clue, then fixes his losing streak by putting his fiancee's 14-year-old son in a wig and calling him Martha. So we did what we do. From negligent hiring and the federal Safe Sport Act to ringers, falsified eligibility, child endangerment, and emotional distress claims for every girl on that roster, this movie is one long deposition waiting to happen. We figure out who sues whom (Chester, the company, the league, and yes, even Matthew's mom), we rule on whether the Ladybugs keep that championship (they absolutely do not), and we have serious questions for whoever wrote the skinny dipping scene.
