The Light We Never Knew We Carried

The Light We Never Knew We Carried — TEVS | Official Music Sometimes I look around at the world we’re living in, and I wonder how we got so far away from one another. We’ve become so divided by our beliefs, our differences, our past mistakes, and the things we don’t understand about each other. Somewhere along the way, I think we forgot something important. We forgot how much good we are capable of doing when we actually care. That’s what this song is about. “The Light We Never Knew We Carried” is a reminder that every single one of us has something meaningful to offer this world. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to believe what I believe. You don’t have to come from the same background or walk the same path. You just have to remember that we’re all human. I wanted this song to bring together the beauty of Celtic music, bluegrass, powerful orchestral arrangements, and spiritual inspiration to create something that reaches beyond just words. To me, the light represents compassion, forgiveness, understanding, courage, and the willingness to help someone even when we have nothing to gain. We cannot change everything that happened yesterday, but we can decide what kind of world we’re going to leave behind tomorrow. If this song reaches even one person who has forgotten their worth, or inspires someone to show kindness where there was once hatred, then creating it was worth it. We all bleed the same. We all deserve compassion. And sometimes the greatest light in this world is the one we never realized we carried within ourselves. Thank you for listening, supporting my music, and being part of this journey.
